GoingCentral™ Post-Purchase Introduction
Registration Instructions

Welcome! You are about to establish one of the best business relationships of your life!

Whether you have purchased a reseller license directly, through an affiliate, other reseller, or auction, there are a few formal steps that are required to establish your relationship officially with GoingCentral.

The steps that are required are generally as follows:

1) register - this sets up a profile for you

2) sign a contract or two depending on whether you have purchased a website or not.

AFFILIATES

For Affiliates, simply register through the affiliate registration process. Click Here

RESELLERS

1) Register as GoingCentral Reseller - Click Here (If you did not intend to register as a GoingCentral Reseller, please go to the TrafficCentral node you intended to register at, and register there. You may follow these instructions. To find the node you desire to be a reseller for, please visit the maps at http://TrafficCentral.com . For resellers that have paid for reseller accounts at other nodes, you will generally be offered and given a FREE annual reseller account at GoingCentral as a courtesy of Doug Ashbaugh, owner and President of TrafficCentral. Unless this notice is removed or revoked, you may sign up for a reseller account here as well. This offer is promotional while are company is in expansion, so take advantage of it if you choose.

This process will lead you through to the contract stage normally. If for some reason you have a problem getting to the contract after filling out the registration form, then click here. (Macintosh users seem to not be able to get through the automated process at times, so simply click the prior link after initial registration to get to the contract stage).

At this stage, you should have done two things. First, you completed the reseller registration form, and second signed a basic reseller contract.

2) Sign a Contract - If you did not sign the reseller contract, you must do so in order for your reseller account to be approved. Please stop now and take your time reviewing and completing this important step. Click here to sign a reseller contract.

If you have only purchased a reseller license, you are done for now. You can email the node owner to say hello if you like or wait for the node owner to review and approve (and activate) your reseller login and account. Then you may access the reseller area afterwards.

Remember this important link to the reseller area: http://GoingCentral.net/reseller/index.php (The main reseller area)

With that link you can access your commission reports and other important information and tools.

RESELLER WEBSITE PURCHASES

3) Sign a TrafficSoldier software license - Each reseller website involves the installation of a website by us or by you. The software templates that we provide are referred to as product name "TrafficSoldier". Before use or installation, you must sign a license which explains things you can and cannot do with the website. Click Here to sign a TrafficSoldier License.

Note: You will note that the page is the same for other contracts, but a separate record for the TrafficSoldier license is required.

If you have signed both a reseller and/or TrafficSolider software license, whatever is appropriate. You are done for now. If you do not receive an email from the node owner in 24 hours, please email them and TrafficCentral legal at email Legal(at)TrafficCentral.net .

PREPARING FOR YOUR WEBSITE INSTALLATION

If you do not have a domain name chosen for your website, you may go to http://URLPirate.com and hunt for an available domain. You will be given a courtesy account at URLPirate as an active GoingCentral reseller, at our discretion.

HOSTING FOR YOUR SITE

Once your reseller account is activated, you should order hosting for your site. We will send you a link to order through so that you can see your own commissions coming in from your own hosting order. This reduces your hosting costs substantially as you eventually receive commissions on your own subscription as it combines with other orders by the customers you and your affiliates bring in through your account id. This is a great way to get to know how the system works and see how the commission reports look and show you your sales in real time immediately after they come into GoingCentral.

DOMAIN NAME SERVICES

The domain your order should be ordered at your registrar of choice or we recommend http://ClaimTheDomain.com , which is run by Doug Ashbaugh, owner of GoingCentral. The domains are deeply discounted and you cannot find better service on the Internet. The domains are managed indirectly by Wild West Domains, a very reputable registrar.

ONCE YOU HAVE THE DOMAIN REGISTERED

Once the domain is registered, you will be given something called the domain name servers. The Domain Name Servers, or DNS servers, are what tells the entire Internet where to find the host for your domain. It takes a couple days now to broadcast and update that information globally due to the enormous size of the Internet. In gneral, in the USA, it updates in 24 to 36 hours, but parts of Florida where Doug Ashbaugh lives, do not get updated for 72 hours at rare times. There can be a mild delay getting your site on-line simply due to these updates that are beyond the control of GoingCentral or TrafficCentral.

You will be emailed the DNS server names to update into your registrar record. You must override or enter the DNS entries and submit the new settings to the registrar to start the process of propagation of the DNS server records related to your domain / website name.

WHEN DNS IS UPDATED

Your website will be installed on the hosting server identified for your site. Tested, and then you will be emailed hosting control panel information. At that time, you may also go into your website and place your order for initial hosting.

COOKIES AND PROTECTIONS

Since you may have already surfed to a store at another GoingCentral resellers, there may be a "reseller id" cookie set on your computer. This is to protect sales for the reseller who bring customers to any store in the network. That reseller, which may not be you, will get credit for the sale if you do not clear all your cookies before surfing to your reseller site and on-line store.

So, to clear your cookies in your web browser, you must follow the web browser's own methods to do so. For Internet Explored Instructions you may click here. For Netscape, you may click here.

SURF TO YOUR STORE AFTER DELETING ALL COOKIES

Once you delete all cookies, surf to your store, test it out. Order your hosting. Be sure that your personal reseller id is shown in the store order pages at the lower right. If not, see the section below about checking the cookie to see if it was cleared.

YOUR RESELLER ID

Your reseller id is coded into your store and it's order link back to the node as an argument. The argumen name is 'rid' and you will see an argument in the store link (when you click on the order or pricing link) as something like this ... 'rid=45&otherthings=...' . You will note the pattern 'rid=45' in this URL. The reseller id for this resller is 45.

CHECKING THE COOKIE TO SEE IF IT WAS CLEARED

If you did all things correctly, you will see that the reseller id in the URL matches the reseller id shown in the lower right (at the bottom) of the store's pricing and order page. If the reseller id shown on the page is not yours, then go and reclear the browser cookies. You will have clear all cookies, and then be sure to exit the browser and ensure that all instances of the browser are closed before restarting the browser. In windows it is common for Internet Explorer to be running ghost browsers that are not viewable. This is an unfortunate facet but to see if all versions of Internet Explorer have terminated, use the Windows Taks Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del at the same time (only once else your machine may reboot). You can then kill off all processes that are Internet Explorer. We recommend simply stopping as many as you can normally and then doing a reboot of your machine in whatever manner your manufacturer recommends. Each computer is different and using the task manager can cause side effects and/or other problems for those who are not technically knowlegable. It is a good tool for seeing if it is ghost versions of Internet Explorer causing the cookie to be withheld by the system though.

SUMMARY

Well, this is a lot to digest on day one. You have taken a great step into working with one of the best companies on the Internet. We look forward to your participation. Once your site is on-line, you may start promoting products and services. There are marketing tools and information in the reseller area and your node owner will be glad to help by answering questions for you.
